Timothy Ang is a lecturer at Kwansei Gakuin University and various institutions around Osaka, Japan.
He spent his formative years living in America. After finishing his Bachelor in Business at George Washington University he eventually moved to Japan. He has a Master’s in Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) with a focus on Bilingual Education from the University of Alcala.
He believes his role as a teacher is to assist each student in developing their own potential. He fosters critical thinking, culture exchange, and language learning through conversation and task-based activities.
His research focus is on Student Motivation, ICT in Language Learning, Learner Autonomy, Pragmatics, and Curriculum Development.
He travels, reads, watches movies, writes, and drinks coffee during his downtime.
